On January 13, 2025, the Parkview School District’s Board of Education voted to place an operational referendum question on the
April 1, 2025 ballot.
This would restore teaching and staff positions that were cut previously. Funding would also provide an increase in staff wages to continue to attract and retain the high-quality staff we’re proud of.
If approved, Parkview’s mill rate would be one of the lowest rates in the area.
If the operational referendum is approved, funding would go towards:
• Restoring Elementary Counselor
• Restoring Elementary Interventionist
• Restoring Jr. Sr. High Math Teacher
• Restoring Jr. Sr. High Interventionist
• Increasing District Office Secretary to Full Time
• Increasing 4 Paraprofessionals to Full Time
• Increasing Staff Wages
Shall the Parkview School District, Rock County, Wisconsin be authorized to exceed the revenue limit specified in Section 121.91, Wisconsin Statutes, by $750,000 per year for the 2025-2026 school year and the 2026-2027 school year, for non-recurring purposes consisting of operational expenses, including for staff
compensation and educational programming?
